Developing 'JAHAGIBA' and its prerequisite test; wireless measuring equipment of erectile dysfunction

Most medical centers and general hospitals take usage of 'RIGISCAN' for measuring erectile dysfunction.

We designed a conditional probability experiment as using air pump for prerequisite experiment for developing 'JAHAKIBA.‘

Conditional probability experiment:

We put a flex sensor on the surface of long ballon.asdfsdaf.png

As on and off a air pump, which produces air into a balloon, we measure the voltage value from the flex sensor, which would be transformed as the balloon's size is getting bigger and smaller for a certain period and record the changes.

The changing records will be shown on a computer monitor. In this experiment, a air pump and two solenoid valves will be used for controlling air in the balloon.

In this experiment, we adopted a air pressure sensor and a glass tank instead of the ballon.

We made an algorithm to calculate the pressure changing volate value into Psi and kpa.

1. air pump controlling

MyRIO's 5 voltage output signal has triggered to turn on a mechanical type relay and 24 voltage from outsource is released to run the air pump.

When the air pump is on, a valve is opened to let the air come in the tank. When the air pump is off, a valve is closed and another valve is opened to let the air go out of the tank.

There are two ways of controlling, manual and automatic, for which the user has to set up the highest and lowest range and the air pump only operates in the range.

The air transfers through air hoses into the glass tank.

The air in the glass tank is transferred through a air hose to the pressure sensor and it measures the pressure.

The pressure sensor measures in the format of votalge is transformed into Psi and kpa value by the given votage to Psi and kpa transforming formula in its manual.변환식.PNG

2.Test results

2.1Manual controlling test results

Manual controlling is to see if each pump, valve, etc. works fine.

As turnining on and off the vertical toggle switch of the manual mode, we check out the pump valves, etc.

MyRIO reads the voltage from the pressure sensor and LabVIEW shows them in voltage, Psi and kpa.

2,2 Automatic controlloing test results

At the automatic controlling mode, the tester sets up the maximal number and minimal number of the pressure voltage value and the air pump runs between them.

he measured voltage number is transformed in Psi, kpa values with the following formula.

The measured valves runs between the maximal setting number and minimal number.

We developed 'JAHAGIBA'; wireless measuring equipment of erectile dysfunction

for replacing 'RIGISCAN' and did its prerequisite test by air pressure controlling.

Like the following image, we planned to measure the voltage value around the balloon with a flex sensor. However, we replaced it with the air pressure testing because of the technical issue of the sensor.

The test has two modes, manual and automatic ones. The air pump works with two valves and the pressure sensor measures the air pressure in the tank in voltage value. The voltage values are transformed into any values in the unit of Psi and Kpa with a certain formula or algorithm. By the test, we were able to measure the pressure change in a certain period.

We still have two missions. One is wireless controlling and two is adopting flex sensor or others.

The wireless controlling is supposed to control the measuring system as good as the current wired system.

When we succeed in wireless controling and adopting new sensors, we should test them with a long balloon. After that any clinical trials is supposed to be done to see if there is any discomfort and inconvenience in the test term.

The advantage of wireless controlling function would compensate of the discomfort, which is caused by wearing the measuring device, like Rigiscan.

The 'JAHAKIBA' would be able to be used in any medical and clinical or industrial fields for measuring muscle expansion, etc, too.

As doing this test, we learned how to make any factor, such as moisture, temperature, etc. stay in a certain range. This know-how can be adopted in any things of internet, such as smart planting, etc.포스터 제발...jpg
