Catching an object with KUKA youbot

Hi ,

I am working on a project, it is to catch an object using KUKA youbot. i am able to track the object using VISION but it is very slow. 

My question is that, is Labview has enough power to work real time as there as packages available for KUKA and ROS.

      Yes it is possible. R u running labview in RTOS or windows.

Actually, I am new(student) to LabVIEW and don't know much about the Software.  I read a lot about regarding this topic and found a lot of packages for ROS and KUKA Robot. 

Regarding RTOS is it free for students?

    I meant are you running labview on Windows OS or Real time   OS.

Right now on Windows, Is the RTOS version of LAbVIEW and all its Add-Ons free?
