Reading SPI of MAX31855

Can you please help me in reading temperature, im using Arduino Leonardo with MAX31855 thermocouple breakout board. I am using the same conversion logic as yours but in my case, the temperature values are flashing with random numbers like 16, 255 etc. I have attached my program can you please help troubleshoot?

Do you have the excel you used as the reference for the configurations? I am trying to recreate a similar program to monitor 8 thermocouples.

Hi guys,

I'm starting with the Labview and arduino and trying to make the TC read working, but still have pure 0 (program running with no error, but 0 as output). I use pre-defined PmodTC1, which should work the same as vi's posted before. Could please anyone explain, what the SPI channel 0 means (can't set anything else without an error)? Where to define which pins will be used for CLK and SO?

Using Arduino UNO, MAX31855, LV2018.

Can you help me for reading temperature from arduino with MAX 6675. It is also SPI and I couldn't create block diagram. I couldn't run your diagram too.

I am trying to understand the code that you posted and I was wondering what the meaning of the binary numbers 1000 0000 0000 0000 and 1100 0000 0000 0000 is. I can't seem to figure out where they come from or what purpose they have. Any help would be much appreciated.

thank but if is possible to load the configuration vi of the max31855 iam working on it but ha have problem with my 31855 (i burn it)
