recherche par propriété - search by property

Bonjour à tous,

Je m'adresse à vous dans la langue de Molière car je ne maitrise pas la langue de Shakespeare, veuillez m'en excuser.

Je développe une interface graphique. J'ai besoin de masquer certaines commandes, et certains indicateurs. Je ne peux pas noté « (masqué) » dans l'étiquette car je connecte ces commandes / indicateurs sur le connecteur du sous-vi. Je ne peux pas non plus noter « (masqué) » dans le sous-titre car il prends la place de l'étiquette dans le connecteur (ce qui n'a aucun sens !).

Pour éviter fouiller le diagramme à la recherche de l'élément masqué, je me suis tourné vers l'outil de recherche, qui en principe sert à trouver les éléments facilement. J'ai eu l'espoir de trouver le champ « recherche par propriété » afin de cocher la case « indicateur / commande masqué(e) ».

Dommage...

Je propose donc plusieurs point à améliorer :

- le sous-titre ne prends pas la place de l'étiquette dans le connecteur de sous-vi ;

- la fonction de recherche doit permettre de rechercher par catégorie d'objet (commande - indicateurs - décoration...) ;

- la fonction de recherche doit permettre de rechercher par propriété (activé - grisé - masqué - sauter en cas de navigation par tabulation...).

Bref, la personne qui reprendra le programme après moi aura un certain nombre de difficulté à retrouvé l'ensemble des indicateurs masqués...

A moins que je ne soit passé à coté de quelque chose (!)

Il existe une astuce qui simplifie la vie lorsqu'on désire jouer avec la propriété Visible/Invisible.

Pour les onglets autre que l'onglet système, il est possible de préciser la couleur de fond. Or LV accepte la couleur 'invisible'.

Du coup, passer d'une page à l'autre semble masquer automatiquement les contrôles comme si on les géraient avec la proprité visible/invisible.

De plus, en développement, c'est infiniement plus confortable !

The caption is intended to take the place of the label in the connector pane. This we will not be changing. The purpose is so the control name does not change but the caption can be localized and shown to the user in their own language.

For your case, you can take advantage of this by putting "hidden" in the control's label then showing the caption and removing the "hidden" from there. This allows the "hidden" to be seen on the diagram terminals but not shown in the connector pane.

We have done some experiments with searching for property values. That could be something we do in the future.

But I think that a search by property could be very useful.

I don't think the idea is bad. It makes sense. The only problem is that I'm trying to picture myself using it and I don't see it.
