ethernet/IP add scanner fuction

Any idea that has not received any kudos within a year after posting will be automatically declined.

The current version of the Ethernet/IP tool kit 781656-35 only functions as an adapter. I need it to also function as a scanner. Specifically to take control  of the point I/O module 1734-AENT module of the Allen Bradley RSlogix 5000 PLC. I need the Labview to replace the PLC RS l5000 logix software. I still want to use the Point IO modules.

Hi

I used a driver from a company called Kirschenhofer Maschinen. They programmed a Ethernet/IP driver library,

that allows your application to function as an Ethernet/Ip scanner. They also included a config-tool to assist with the configuration of your hardware signatures using the EDS-file. They also included interfaces for some Turck IO-Modules.
