Resolve conflicts dialog - double click path to open VI

Status: New

I think it would be useful if you could double click on the items in "Referencing Items" to open the VI on the resolve conflicts dialog.

As an aside, the dialog should also remeber its last position and size. I have to expand it every time to see the full path.

Also ability to copy the text in the "Details for the Selected Item(s)" text field. Ctrl + C doesn't seem to work.

I would be definitely happy about any improvement in the GUI for resolving conflicts. There are cases which can turn into dependency hells, for example when VIs bound to VI libraries are externally moved, or when there are tens of conflicts to resolve mechanically, and the present GUI is of very limited help. However, does a request for "Open VI" make sense here? I understand that if there is a conflict, it is because the VI cannot be opened. Either because missing or because it opening it would mess up cross references in the hierarchy.

It really is horrendous. Still trying to resolve the conflicts in this instance, but can't understand why I won't let me. If the file does not exist then how can it be loaded into memory and therefore cause the correct file to not load.

I assumed that the files with the "Needs Update" status had objects referencing a non-existent path, but LabVIEW is of no help with pin-pointing the root cause.
Oops, that was to change it to the broken link.

I agree with Matt. I am periodically plagued with conflicts to vi's that have not been in the conflicting location for quite a while.

Many of my conflicts could be easily resolved by removing the conflicting non-existent link.

Would it be possible to make the Conflicts with the "this item can not currently be used to resolve conflict"  right-clickable and purged?

I can see why these items can appear and be helpful, but in 99.999% of my cases removing the offending reference would be most expedient.
