The ROI tools in Vision, which I like to use to draw shapes on an image and then merge the resulting ROI with the image, require more customization options including pen size and shape.
Similarly, the IMAQ Vision Draw fx requires further options as well including all the shapes possible with the ROI tools, pen thickness, and pen shape.
We should be able to at least duplicate all of the things possible with the Picture Control draws.
I'm confused - how could a region of interest's boundary have a thickness (pen size) of anything other than 1? Or are you talking about the graphic representatation of an ROI? If so, I'd suggest a new datatype.
I am in agreement with you if the IMAQ Vision Draw fx allowed pen/brush customization and draws using all of the tools available on the ROI tools palette. It does not unless I am missing something. See:
