The split half of this idea is a duplicate.  Ability to Split "Unbundle by Name" into Two Parts

I'm tempted to close the other one as a duplicate of this one.

 

For this one, I would want a user to ALSO be able to multi select nodes and have a right-click "Join" because the easy "drag to join" isn't discoverable. I'm fine with having the easy just-drag-it way, but usability demands having a way that people can just find in the UI.

Good point AQ, select two, r-click and "join" fits well as another way of doing it.
