It would be of great help if after modifying the name of an element in a global variable, all instances of the global variable relinked to that element automatically.
Currently, as soon as the name of an element in a global variable is changed, all global variable instances of that element become broken,which requires going through each and every one manually and relink it to the renamed element.
If there is a reason for this, then at least some functionality should be built into labVIEW to allow the user to relink all broken links to a global variable, if that's what they want to do.
