Connector Name

I would like a way to name all of the connector I/O from an external souce - perhaps an excel file.  I envision importing a single file for all of the I/O.

I'm not sure what you are asking here.  The names of inputs and outputs are all derived from from the controls and indicators they are connected to.

Please ignore my comment.  I now realize this is an FPGA idea, which is a product I'm not familar with.  I thought I was reading an idea posted to the regular LabVIEW board.

Can you elaborate? Do you want to be able to import a spreadsheet file that has pairs of physical channels and channel aliases for a particular FPGA device? Would these be aliases you want to see in the LV project?

That is exactly what I want.  We will need some way to differentiate connectors i.e. MIO0, DIO0, DIO2.

maybe:

MIO0-00:SPI_CLK

MIO-01:SPI_SEL

etc
