Voltage waveform not smooth!!

Dear All 

 

I am using power quality measurment with cRIO 9023 +9118+9225+9227 with LabVIEW and EPS 2013.

my questionthat why the voltage waveform dispay are not really smooth. please kindly do let me known the reason why and how can i make it more smoothly!

Hi QuangLuong.Tran,

1. Maybe that's what actually generated from your singal source. You should try to use some oscilloscope to look for yourself.
Be careful with the high voltage though.
The flattened wave top may also suggest the maximum of the amplifier has been reached. Try to decrease the amplitude of the wave and measure using EPS suite.

2. Right click on the plot icon and choose "Anti-Aliased" for smoother view. Refer to the attached screenshot.

Can any one please explain me how to set Sample time in Energy block.
kindly attach .vi file calculating energy from simple simulated sine wave.
