A quick question regarding the Power block from the electrical power toolkit. This block receives the voltage and current measurements to calculate Active, Reactive, Apparent power and Power Factor. This is correct in terms of absolute magnitudes for all except Q i.e. way Reactive Power is calculated will always result in a positive Q. From this it is difficult to further derive the angle between voltage and current (phase difference). Is there any suggestions on what could be an easy way to modify to achieve this?
Use the Fundamental Vector VI to first calculate the vectors of the voltage and current, and then use the vectors to calculate the phase differencen between voltage and current.
