create a type def from a cluster control

Hi all

Is there a way to create a Type def from a cluster and save this to a hard drive so that I can use it it in different VI's

Jürgen,

right-klick the cluster and select /Advanced/Customize/. The cluster is opened in the control editor where you can safe it as as control, a type-def or a strict type-def. Strict type-def's define not only the type of control, but also its optics, whereever needed.
