Use of Native CS Line BBB

Hi, I'm using SPI to communicate between BeagleBone and a custom made cape. I'm planning to use LINX because of its GUI. Though, I see from pinout that SPI0_CS0 is reserved. Then, I would like to know if there is any library or driver upgrade that will allow me to use the native CS line from BB and don't have to use the GPIO instead. Thanks! Jose
