SwitchExecutive Hosted Application

Background

As a side project I created a Hosted Application for SwitchExecutive.  This app uses the early access Hosted Application feature in InstrumentStudio 2019.  The app is lightly tested and is a demonstration of what is possible.  The app is as-is; however, please post any issue you may find.

What it is

An interactive panel for using routes created with SwitchExecutive.  The app does not take the place of SwitchExecutive or configurations made in MAX.  A common workflow for this app is to combine it with the DMM panel to provide an easy way to switch which pin of a DUT is being measured.

• Connecting/Disconnecting routes made in MAX
• Seeing route and channel information (in large mode)
• Small and large presentations
• Monitors running automation code (when enabled from the menu)
• Saving/loading with the .sfp

Installation (InstrumentStudio 2019)

1.Copy the plugin to the InstrumentStudio addons folder in users/public.  There is a quick link in InstrumentStudio preferences to this directory.

2. Enable hosted applications in InstrumentStudio preferences

3. From the picker select the new plugin

The SwitchExecutive example has been updated to work with the newly released InstrumentStudio 2021! You can get the latest version at the Github link above.
