I would like to ask about connecting the USRP X310 to a laptop using a 10 Gbps SFP+ to USB-C/Type-C adapter.
My laptop does not have a native 10 Gigabit Ethernet or SFP+ port, so I am planning to use an external adapter/converter. I would like to know:
1. Is it possible to access and operate the USRP X310 at full 10 Gbps speed through a USB-C/Type-C adapter?
2. Will the connection work only at normal 1 Gbps speed, or can it achieve full 10 Gbps throughput?
3. Are there any recommended adapters or specific chipset requirements for stable UHD/USRP operation?
4. Has anyone successfully used USRP X310 with a laptop through such an adapter?
My laptop supports USB 3.2/Type-C ports.
Any guidance or recommended setup would be very helpful.

Hi
You can use the "QNA-T310G1S" but you should have a thunderbolt 3 or 4 port in your laptop.
It get a 10GbE full speed on X310 port 1. The port 0 is 1Gbe on default FPGA flavor.

Hi,
Thank you for the suggestion.
Could you please suggest any other compatible adapter model/link under $120 dollor?
The QNA-T310G1S is a bit out of my budget.
Thank you.

I do not know any other compatible adapter options besides the QNA-T310G1S.
