Does the CRIO-9073 have reverse voltage protection?

The manual here says:

The cRIO-9072/9073/9074 requires an external power supply that meets the specifications in
the Power Requirements section. The cRIO-9072/9073/9074 filters and regulates the supplied
power and provides power for all of the I/O modules. The cRIO-9072/9073/9074 has one layer
of reverse-voltage protection.

I'm not sure what one layer of reverse-voltage protection means really. Maybe it means that is simply a single diode instead of a bridge diode, which would mean it simply prevents the controller from working while a wrong polarization is applied.

The main proof is of course: Does it still work if properly powered?

Also it would be a good idea to actually use a 4 pin connector to prevent such accidental misaligned plugins. Those screws hitting onto the actual pins in the connector aren't really making things better either. One compatible connector type from Phoenix Contacts would be MC 1,5/ 4-STF-3,5
