I can't get a pcmcia-gpib to work in a pcmcia to express 54 adapter, has anyone tried this

I have never user or seen an ExpressCard to PCMCIA adapter, my experience with PCI to PCMCIA adapters has shown that all are not created equal. Some of them work without a hitch, while others don't seem to work at all. I would highly recommend that you use either an NI ExpressCard-GPIB or GPIB-USB-HS interface on your system. You should see much higher performance with one of these interfaces, as well as having it supported natively with no need for bus adapters on the system
