missing ibProto.h file

I have unpacked and built the linux-gpib driver sucessfully one time. During subsequent builds I am missing a file ~/linux-gpib/lib/ibProto.h.
Where does this file come from? Is it generated during the build? What might have happened?
I am starting with:
linux-gpib-2.04.base/tar.gz and linux-gpib-2.04/contrib.tar.gz. I'm using the atgpib GPIB board.

ibProto.h is not a part of the current NI released BETA driver. From where did you obtain this version? The developer may have documentation available about the distribution that should explanation what/where this header file is. I would suggest contacting the developer or redownloading their distribution or documentation.
