labview for HP8568B display

I wanted to ask a question about labview and an older spectrum analyzer, the HP8568B:  I have this analyzer and the spectrum analyer section works ok but the display unit that goes with it is shot (screen is blank).  Is there any chance that one could use labview code and get the display to work through the HPIB so that another monitor could be used?

A quick search on Agilents web site http://www.home.agilent.com/agilent/facet.jspx?kt=1&cc=US&lc=eng&k=HP8568B says that the 8568B is somewhat compatible with the 8566B. A quick look at IDNET on NI's site turned up a LabVIEW driver for the 8566B.

You could take a try using that driver. Modify as necessary.
