how to communicate with VOSTCH thermal chamber via Ethernet using labview

Hi every one,

I want to communicate with a Thermal Chamber (Votsch, Germany)..via ETHERNET and finally intend to control it via a Labview program.

I have created a VISA instrument in NI MAX, but when i try to communicate with the instrument using "open VISA test panel", the message pops

I get an error when clicking on the attachment.

We are using different models of Vötsch chambers and we have written instrument drivers for them using Labwindows/CVi. First of all you will need to get the documentation about the used protocol for controling it. Unfortunately some models use protocols with checksums. That will make it difficult to control them manually with the VISA panel.
