how to acces to serial port via a pci to serial extension card

Hy,

I ve a PC (Xppro, AMD athlon 64X2 3800+) in wich we add a PCIe card (Sunix 4056A muti I/O adapter) for having 4 more serial port RS232 (we have a lot of devices to pilot via RS232). In windows, the card is well installed, driver looks OK, no pb from configuration pannel. I've com3, com4, com5 and com6.

But, via Labview7.1, I don't know how to acces to this 4 new serial port. I can't initialise the serial port if I use for example the Basic Serial Write and Read .vi from VI example list. I never have the choice to select one of the 4 new serial port in VISA resource name.  If I write com5 for example, the error -1073807202 occur.

Somebody could help me?

That's a very common problem and you could many posts related to that by searching the forum for the error code. It means you don't have NI-VISA installed. It's on your drivers CD.
