Im over in Germany
and a cRIO-9066 controller we have is unresponsive.

I arrived at it and it was running labview 14 with some previously installed
software. I needed to update the software so as my laptop has version 15 it
asked me to update the firmware. So I clicked update and it sent me to a

location on my C: drive called:

C:\Program Files (x86)\National
Instruments\Shared\Firmware\cRIO\7743\cRIO-9066_3.0.0f0.cfg

I put this on now the machine flashes the yellow statuss light continuously and
wont respond

Please could someone send me the usb flash drive files to recover it? I tried a
usb cable but to

Hi Everyone!

I also have a cRIO 9066 with firmware version 3.00.

In LabVIEW/MAX (18.0.0) I tried to configure the hardware. It is in safe mode, the yellow led blinks 2 times.

I can see it and configure the system and network related issues but at the software tab I see a message that firmware should be updated to at least 5.0.0.

I have found version 6.0.0. in patch NIRIO15.01, ut when I try to update it (from the file cRIO-9066_6.0.0.cfg), an error message comes:

"There was a problem updating the firmware for this device.
Error code: 800407E2"

I have no idea what can be the next step or what I have made wrong.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Attila

That would have been cool if the instructions for unbricking were *Here* instead of someone's mailbox.
