Is it possible to create a real time project for serial communication without any real time target?
I have connected a Zigbee receiver module to my PC through COM port...I want to test it at 1000 Hz i.e in a span of 1 sec it should send or receive 1000 bytes at the rate of 1 ms over RS232 port.
Achieving time resolution of 1ms is not possible with Windows...
so my doubt is ...
creating an RT project would eliminate this or not?....if yes while selecting target what devices or targets should I add to my project? (as I don't have any real time target)
Zigbee module that I used is not NI proprietary.
Kindly guide me in this regard.
