I can find the instrument in LabVIEW but if try to configure that, I can't find the model.
I doubted that Keithley 2460 will work in LabVIEW or not.

Which driver did you download?
What exactly is the error code and message.
What connection do you use? GPIB, Serial or USB etc.?
Make it possible to see your problem by providing these details.
The 2400 series works a long time already with LAbVIEW, but maybe you need the skippy configuration on your machine.

HI,
Thanks for your kind reply.
I am using the Labview trial version.
I am using a GPIB connection.
In LabVIEW tools i choose instruments->find instruments driver->connected instuments->keithley 2460, till this i have no problem.
After that, I can select manufacture but I can't see the Keithley model 2460 on the next page.
i can see only ke2400 instuments, and the supported models are 2400,2410,2420,2430,2440.
for this problem what kind of LABVIEW license I need( base, full or professional).
please help me with this.
thanks in advance

Hi
Use that driver an see if it works. I can look tonight to see what needs to be changed if it does not work. Probably the new instrument was not known yet.
You don't need any license for this work as long as the evaluation period is not over.
Wish you luck an I will hear from you if it works or not.

Try this driver: Keithley 2450, 2460, 2461, 2470 Native LabVIEW 2015 Instrument Driver version 1.4.0
I have previously used a 2400 and that driver I wrote did not work with a 2450 I worked with last year. Turns out there were some weird nuances I had to work around. I have not tried the above driver, but coming straight from Keithley gives me a sense of confidence.

What did you try?
I placed the folder keithley 2450 in the following folder.
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2020\instr.lib\
resulting in C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2020\instr.lib\Keithley 2450
In there is a readmenew.html that contains the following lines
REV 1.3.0.0 01/27/2016
Added model support for 2461 series Instruments.
Help content updated for several VIs and Controls.
So it should work for you system.
If you have 64 bit LabVIEW the (x86) should be removed and all placed in
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2020\instr.lib\
If you have another version of LabVIEW than 202 adapt that version number accordingly.
