beginners question - Connecting a PXIe 8100 RT and reading values from a PXI-4065

so i got everything installed now except for the NI-DAQmx OPC Support 14.1.0 wich greats me with an error message i inclueded in this post. even though the software of the hardware shows me that i have the 14.1 installed the 4065s still tell me driver 9.7 is incompatible. so i guessed it ahs something to do with this last driver im unable to install. i include the error message and again the new reports

I think you need the LabVIEW Real-Time Module in order to get the needed dependencies.

If you have the LV RT Module installed on your Host PC you should be able to install everything you need.

Hi,

 

The LabVIEW Real-Time Module isn't included in the Base License.

It is necessary to properly use your Real-Time Device and to install all needed Software for your System.

You have the option to try the RT Module for 45 days.

 

Download LabVIEW Real Time Module:

ok so i finally got everything installed but now im clueless on how to get readouts into labview vi's. the NI-DMM/Switch Express function is showing <no device found> even though ni max is running and showing that all hardware is ready and recognized correctly.

Hi,

 

the Express VI isn't supported in LabVIEW Real-Time.
