This is a CAN question but hopefully the readers of this forum can answer it (or point me to the right forum) even though it is not related to GPIB, Serial, VISA or IVI.
I have developed a software which reads and writes to a CAN bus using the CAN net sub VI:s (ncWriteNet.vi etc). When developing the code I used a NI USB-8473 High Speed CAN and everything worked fine. Our customers who will use the software do not have National Instruments hardware but use Kvaser USBcan II (http://www.kvaser.com/index.htm). They claim that they can read CAN frames but not write using my software. I wonder if they have to use a National Instruments CAN controller to able to write to the network. At Kvaser's wepage they claim to support LabVIEW but I would like to double check to able to rule out the hardware as a cause for their problems.
