What does it mean when I have conflicting DMA channels?

I have been trying to connect serial devices to the 9870 module on my CompactRIO 9074, but I am getting an error when I compile my FPGA code. I have found an example called 9870_serial_read_and_write, and I have modified it to my current target. The code looks like it's error free, but when it gets to step 7 of initialization, it says "Too many DMA channels have been requested or some requests are conflicting." I'm using 2 DMA channels out of the three available, so any thoughts or suggestions would be great!
