Is there any method by which we can use NI USRP 2900 without connecting it to the host PC via USB cable?

Hi, 

no, you should connect the USRP 2900 device to the host PC using USB cable to use it. You can connect the device to either a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port.

Kindly refer to the USRP-2900 Getting Start Guide.
