can I use the IBDEV command twice in one application at the same time.

Gerhard,

Yes, you can... you just need to call it from the board-level layer of
communication each time. IBDEV is the command that takes you from
board-level to device-level communication. IBONL will return you from
device-level to board-level communication. For details, check out the IBIC
