Hi

Check baud rate and handshaking in Windows.

I have the feeling that these settings should be add to init serial port.

You now only set the buffer length even at standard values but a lot more is possible.

Or check the settings in windows device manager for your device.

LabVIEW does not use these settings. You have to supply them in the initialize serial port.
