Hi,
I have a TDS2024C and connected to PC by usb.
NI Max can detect the device, but when I tried to send command through VISA test panel, it doesn't work.
is there any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi Here is the screen shot.
you can see the Ni Max detected the oscilloscope, but can't send commands to it.

Indeed MAX sees this but MAX only knows when USB is working correctly.
So without hardware to test I only can guess:
I see two USB connectors, I hope you connected to the back
And I see Signal express is on board shouldn't that be disconnected? Or external computer conected?

Hi,
Yes, usb is connected to the back of the scope.
So is there any setting I need to do?
When I connected the scope to a computer, I installed TekVISA, not sure if it is necessary or it cause the problem. And I restarted computer too. What else I can do to find the problem?
thanks!

For some of these instruments, it prefers the other selection in the Windows Control Panel for USB. Select the USBTMC which is the USB Test & Measurement Class Device driver. I have had to use this in the past for some Tektronix instruments.

Hi,
the instrument was shown as USB Test & Measurement Class Device in the device manager.
somehow after I disable and enable the device again, now everything works fine.
I am still using the usb address shown in the NI Max.
