TC- 2095 Volt measurement

Hi all

I connected a pressure measurer to my  Tc- 2095, the measurer as got an output of 1 V when the pressure is eagle to 0 but in NIMAX indicate 0.6 V why?

Is the tc-2095 fitted to measure a tension from 1 to 5V ? Why 1V became 0.6V?  The channel was correctly setted to Volts , are there other set-up to do?

Thanks

Matteo

Sorry, but that does not make any sense. The TC-2095 is a dumb terminal block that is not capable of measuring anything.

Ah ok .... than , do you think that's a calibration problem?

You need to learn what actual DAQ device is connected to the terminal block and you need to be more specific than ' pressure measurer'.

the tc- 2095 is connected to an SCXI 1102 and the measurer is a DRUCK pressure transmitter , model PTX 1000 (range 0-300 mBar)

The 1102 is designed for thermocouple measurements. How are you connecting the pressure transmitter?

Edit-a quick check shows the ptx-1000 is 4-20ma.

Yes but i'm acquiring in voltage thant the 1100 as got a range of +- 10V and my instrument as got a range  from 1 to 5 V

Sorry, I don't understand what you are saying. The 1102 reads only voltage. You have a current output. What resistor, if any, are you terminating the sensot with?

I have my pressure measurer linked to my tc-2095 and the 2095  is connected to my 1102. I transform the current in voltage with a resistance of 249 omh.
