I followed the steps in document 20KG1C7Z to get my Agilent 82357A USB to GPIB interface connected, but MAX still does not find it. Any suggestions on what to do to be able to let my VI's recognize a valid GPIB controller?
What version of MAX do you have? Did you restart MAX after enabling the NiVisaTulip.dll? Before you restart MAX you need to save the changes you made by adding this passport. There is a save button on the top middle of the screen. Try this and let me know what happens. You will not be able to configure this device in MAX, you will only be able to see it. You must use the Agilent/HP I/O configuration utility to configure that hardware. Hope this helps!
Thanks. I tried all of that initially, but it still didn't show up. I finally got things working by rebooting the computer, and it worked on start up, and has been working fine ever since. I appreciate your feedback.
