RS422 connection for NI 9871 Serial module

Hello NI community,

I want to use RS422 full duplex communication of NI 9871 to connect an external board using its own serial tranciever.

I just need to use TX and RX link. How should I connect the other 5 other pins (RTS and CTS signals): NC, GND, Vcc?

Kind regards,

If you aren't using the handshaking (RTS and CTS), then don't worry about them.  The NC means "No Connection", so leave that pin alone.  You should connect the GND of the board to the COM of the 9871.

Thanks crossrultz,

Just to be sure, the pin out described in NI-9871 is the pin out of the module: I have to connect the TX indicated in the datasheet to the Rx of my external equipment?
