Programmatically identifying COM ports assigned to PCI-8430/4

I have a PCI-8430/4 serial (RS-232) card.  I would like to be able to programmatically identify the COM ports that are assigned to it for display purposes (just like selecting a PCI-8430/4 under Devices and Interfaces in MAX).  Does anyone have a LabVIEW example for this?

Hi Ryan,

Maybe there is a better way but this is what I know:

You can export the MAX configuration (measurement I/O palette) and search file(s) from MAX

You can look into your registry. See the txt file with registry info for my PCI-8431

KC,

Thanks for the recommendation to look in the registry.  I didn't even think of that.  Thanks very much!
