PCMCIA GPIB not recognized in MAX 5 with NI 488.2 3.0

Hi,

an older (5-10 years?) PCMCIA-GPIB will not detected in MAX 5 installed  with NI 488.2 3.0 on Win XP SP3.

In the Windows device manager the PCMCIA-GPIB is ok. But MAX don't show it (also after some updates with  F5)

If I connect an  additional GPIB-USB-HS card,  than both GPIB devices are shown in MAX.

If I disconnect the USB card, also the PCMCIA-GPIB disappears!

I solved the problem by installing the previous Version NI 488.2 2.8.1 with MAX4.7.2.

Then the  PCMCIA-GPIB is always shown in MAX.

Thank you for telling us about these issues. We recently became aware of them and they will be fixed in our next release. Please continue using the older version of the driver until it is available.
