No serial com with E3648A

Hello Gelb,

        I recommend that you use the VISA Interactive Control in MAX (Measurement and Automation Explorer) to troubleshoot the communication problem.  Here is a good link for your reference: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/4370

Also, please let us know which instrument driver you are using and in what version of LabVIEW.

It is useful with the use of MAX.

It was discover that it requires the use of null modem cable for serial communication.
