No response from instrument with local RT engine installed

Hi

Have created an app which talks to a few instruments and runs fine on my machine which has Measurement Studio installed.  However, when I create a distribution kit and other engineers install it, the app runs but the instruments are not driven at all, all data read from them returns as zeros.  I am using a USB to GPIB module.  Everything else checks out except for the somewhat critical step of actually commanding the instrument to do something useful.

Using CVI5.5 but it works fine on my laptop and need to distribute a stand alone app to some other guys here.

What's in your distribution? Did you include the installers for NI-488 and NI-VISA? Neither get included by selecting the default options for the distribution kit.

Yeah thanks, I spotted that later that day but it still made no difference.  I made a new distribution with VISA and 488 included but still no luck driving the instruments correctly.  The SW doesn't complain that it can't find them they just don't get forced into remote mode and all data returned is zero.
