I see this on my Max. I read few posts but they were unrelated. I am running Windows 10 64-bit, LabVIEW 64-bit, and MAX 19.0.0f0.

I uninstalled NI VISA and reinstalled but problem won't go away. Any thoughts?

How about some more information:

  • Manufacturer and Model of instrument
  • Communication port used (USB, GPIB,...)
  • Any converters used (USB-to-GPIB,...)
  • Port configuration (for Serial,...)
  • Any other useful information about the equipment trying to be detected

Adding this screenshot that might show the problem better.

You can see COM3 on device manager, but on Max, its absent. I have both NI VISA 19.0 and NI Serial installed. Thoughts?
