New GPIB-USB-HS doesn't work with my old (LabView 6.1) code that works with GPIB-USB-B

Coul it be that the 6.1 LabView doesn't work with the HS GPIB?

Observing the "Highligh Execution", the program stalls when it tries to write a GPIB code via VISA-W.

Any help or suggestion appreciated!

Hi milan,

Is this the same computer with the same drivers as before except for the new -HS?  If so you might be using an older version of the NI-488.2 driver that doesn't support the -HS.  Here's a link to the current version of NI-488.2 that adds support for the GPIB-USB-HS.  Just for completeness, here's a link to the current version of NI-VISA as well.

If you have installed the correct driver, the issue may be that when you first install a new device to the system, you need to run Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) and scan for instruments to generate the VISA resource descriptors for your devices.
