Hello,

I am trying to control USB-6008 via VISA API (without NI-DAQmx). This is for educational purposes only.

I used the NI-VISA Driver Wizard to setup the USB RAW driver. I need help for the next step(s).

Where I can get communication protocol for USB-6008?

Do you have another idea?

Unfortunately, that may not be possible or recommended by NI.

 

DAQmx hardware is special and hence NI provided special drivers to use them. You cannot control them outside of DAQmx drivers.
