I am receiving read errors from a NI-9871 module while trying to run a loopback test. I have a cRIO-9040 chassis. I have tried the loopback test in both scan and FPGA mode with similar results. When I put the 9871 in scan mode and use the VISA Interactive Control to do a loopback test, I 2 bytes back. They are \00\00 and there is an error that says "VISA: (Hex: 0xBFFF003E) Could not perform operation because of I/O error." When I try to run the FPGA 9871 Loopback VI, the read operation returns an error code of 65572 (Serial break error).
Any ideas about what my problem could be?
