Hi all,

 

We would like to know whether the COM port on RJ50 connectors of NI-9871 are electrically isolated from each other and from COM port of external power supply?

No, all COM ports are electrically connected.

 

The isolation is provided by the external isolated power supply by isolating the 9871 from the rest of the modules in the chassis.
