Hi,
I am trying to start at GPIB connection to my Keithley 2400 source meter using a NI GPIB-USB-HS converter on Matlab r2015b. NI Max indicated that the device is connected. However, I keep getting the following error (see attached image): "The specified VENDOR adaptor could not be found."
Any ideas on how I can solve this issue.
Thanks!

Hello mroschelle97
Which version of NI-488.2 do you have installed in your computer?
Do you get the same error when using a VISA test panel?
Do you have other cables that you can try using? This way we can narrow down if the problem is related to the cable or the driver.
I found some information about a similar error: https://forum.tek.com/viewtopic.php?t=137040. They discuss here that this can be caused by having multiple VISA drivers in your computer.
This can also be caused by using 64-bit Matlab. https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/132437-connecting-keithley-6221-with-gpib

Hi JoAI0304,
Thanks for your response.
The cable is working for other computers (all running windows), but not my own. So it doesn't seem like it would not be a problem with the cable.
Attached is the HW info for the driver and visa from my computer. The NI-488.2 version number is 18.
When I use VISA test panel and try to read or write I get a timeout error (see below).
Thanks!
