MAX does not recognise agilent E4438C (Via GPIB-USB-B)

I have Agilent E4438C connected to the PC via GPIB-USB-B. MAX is able to recognize the GPIB-USB interface but when I "scan the instruments", the signal generator is not recognized. Any help with this,please?

Couple of questions for you:

What operating system are you running on?

Do you have the latest version of the driver (NI-488.2 version 2.4)?

Is your instrument 488.2 compliant?

Does it work with any other computers/GPIB interfaces?

I got the Device to work. It was just a loose connection on the back of the device. Thanks for the help.
