Keithley KUSB-488B connection on Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS

Dear,

I would like to know if it is possible to somehow use the Keithley KUSB-488B IEEE-488.2 USB-to-GPIB Interface Adapter for USB Ports to link a Keithley electrometer model 6514 to an Ubuntu 20.04.2 system.
I tried to install the possible drivers I found on the NI website, tried to install NI-VISA, NI4882-17.0 as per other questions here on the forum, but I was unsuccessful.

On windows OS that I have, with the drivers properly installed, KUSB keeps both the ACTIVE and READY signals turned on. But on my Ubuntu only the ACTIVE signal stays on.

My OS information:

$uname -r
5.4.0-84-generic

$lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS
Release: 20.04
Codename: focal

Any help is most welcome!

Any reason you've reached out to NI discussion forum for a Keithley product and has nothing to with NI's products?

I would recommend reaching out to Keithley or their forum https://forum.tek.com/ for better reach
