IVI connection to TTI CPX200 power supply

Solved!
Go to solution

I am trying to control a CPX200DP power supply from TTI over Ethernet LXI using the IVI driver supplied by the manufacturer. but when I try to make a new logical name I get the attached error message.

I can see the device as a Network Device in MAX, and it has a VISA resource for TCPIP, and there seems to be a driver DLL present in C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\VISA\WinNT\Bin.

Can anyone help me with what must be the really obvious thing I have overlooked?

Give this a go:

  1. Copy the IviConfigurationStore.xml file to another location.
  2. Delete the original IviConfigurationStore.xml file.
  3. Move the copied version to the original folder.

I don't quite understand why copying and restoring the exact same file works but it seems to, thanks!
