Hello,
I am using an IFM SM-8601 flowmeter and NI USB-6008. The flowmeter has 4 cables (brown for L+, blue for L-, white for analogue input, black for PLC input). I am trying to use the positive switching/analogue input sample circuit shown in manual. I have the brown and blue wires connected to 24 V (no load voltage, 22V full load voltage), which allows the flowmeter to power on. However, I am unsure about the connection to the USB-6008.
My questions are:
1) Is NI USB-6008 applicable? If not, please let me know the appropriate equipment.
2) Do I connect the white wire to AI 1 (AI 1+) and the blue wire to AI 5 (AI 1-)? If not, how should the cables be connected?
