I have this problem when connecting arduino with linx, I tried to disable the ports and use VI to close the VISA sessions but it didn't work.

A good reason for me to connect the arduino and play with LINX.

I got an error also after selecting refresh and COM3.

And that error is OK because I programmed something else in the arduino.

I don't know what happens to your Arduino but for sure your error is before this.

Try to open the "Open Serial.vi" and run this stand alone.

If this does not work check if visa is present in your system by opening MAX and double click software on the left side.

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW was unable to connect to the LINX device using the following settings:

Interface: Serial
COM Port: COM3

Please make sure that the LINX firmware is loaded on the device (Tools>>MakerHub >>LINX>>Firmware Wizard) that there are no other open connections to the device, then check the configuration settings, and try again.
